Oluyemi Thomas Quintet

We are pleased to present this performance of the Oluyemi Thomas Quintet. On this night, he is joined by Jaribu Shahid on bass, Kenn Thomas on piano, Mike Khoury on viola, and David Hurley on percussion. Oluyemi's experience in sharing musical language includes Cecil Taylor, Wadada Leo Smith, Alan Silva, William Parker, Wilber Morris, John Tchicai, Roscoe Mitchell, Anthony Braxton and Charles Gayle.
