"Never in Exile: Detroit's LeRoy Foster": Talk, Film Screening, and Discussion

Join Andrew Ruys de Perez, the Jeanne and Ralph Graham Curatorial Fellow at Cranbrook Art Museum and the author of an essay on Foster included in the catalog for Skilled Labor: Black Realism in Detroit, as he presents “Never in Exile: Detroit’s LeRoy Foster.” We will also present a preview screening of the short film, Seeing Foster, produced by the Watsford Collective and directed by Jerome Watson, followed by a panel discussion with Mario Moore, Dr. Hubert Massey, Andrew Ruys de Perez, Jerome Watson, and Carole Morisseau, moderated by Laura Mott, Chief Curator of Cranbrook Art Museum.
