Shara Worden is an Ypsilanti High School graduate, but you’ve more likely heard of her from My Brightest Diamond, Worden’s acclaimed indie rock project that merges the worlds of pop and classical, and which has led to collaborations with David Lang, Sufjan Stevens, and Laurie Anderson. My Brightest Diamond will kick off the UMS concert season with supporting performances from the Detroit Party Marching Band and a DJ set from Shigeto.
