Music Gear & Record Sale: A Benefit for Moondog Café

Moondog Café is a new café and DIY music venue set to open its doors mid-January in Detroit's Wildemere Park neighborhood. The project, led by 3 Detroit-based artists, is currently crowdfunding via Indiegogo to complete buildout of the venue. On December 10, the Moondog team will host a fundraiser at Motor City Street Dance Academy's space on Michigan Ave. Loads of gear (keyboards, effects pedals, etc.) and records (400+ from their personal collections) will be offered with proceeds going directly to the venue's opening budget. Expect guest DJ sets, the Lions game on the projector plus warm drinks and snacks.
