Murals in the Market Block Party

The Murals in the Market Family Reunion Block Party returns after last year's wildly successful inaugural event. Event organizers Paxahau (producers of the annual Movement Music Festival) and 1xRUN (producers of the annual Murals in the Market street art festival) are pleased to announce the headliners for the 2019 event, featuring legendary Hip-Hop DJ and producer, DJ Premier along with Los Angeles-born turnatble icon and founding member of the world-famous Beat Junkies crew, J Rocc. More acts will be announced soon.

This year's family reunion celebration will take place on Saturday, September 14 at the Eastern Market District (Division Street / Russell Street), and serves as the official kick-off for the Murals in the Market festival on September 14th-21st. In addition to music, attendees will have the opportunity to experience live mural painting by this year’s Murals in the Market participants, taking place across Eastern Market as well as family-friendly activities, food from local vendors, and much more. The event is all ages and dog friendly; kids 12 and under get in free.
