A special “Motor City Origins Tour” on Friday, April 5 at 5:30 p.m. will explore how The Motor City got its start in the Milwaukee Junction neighborhood in the early 1900s. This after-hours event at the museum includes a complimentary Happy Half-Hour and crostini bar, followed by a theater presentation on Detroit’s early automotive history. Guests will then enjoy a deep dive into the museum’s collection of rare antique vehicles made by Ford, but also Brush, Cadillac, Detroit Electric, Dodge, Hupp, Regal and others, laying the foundation for Detroit to become the automotive capital of the world.
