Motor City Comedy Festival

Headliners Hans Kim, Jeremiah Watkins, and Detroit-natives Mary Lynn Rajskub and Mateen Stewart will anchor the event. Their shows will take place at Detroit House of Comedy (2301 Woodward Ave, Detroit); tickets are $25 and available at motorcitycomedyfestival.com and detroit.houseofcomedy.net. Additional showcase shows will take place at The Independent Comedy Club and Detroit House of Comedy, tickets will be $5 at the door for these shows. Additional performers have been culled from a largest-ever submission pool of 406 applicants who desired to come to the city of Detroit. Twelve free workshops will be offered for those in the entertainment industry wishing to expand their business knowledge to round-out the event.
