MLK Day of Service

To honor Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Wayne State University announced a service day event. State Representative Tyrone Carter, Wayne State University AmeriCorps Urban Safety Program, and Marathon Petroleum present Fueling Detroit: Martin Luther King Jr Day of Service. This will be the 13th annual MLK Day of Service activity convened by the Wayne State University Center for Urban Studies AmeriCorps Urban Safety (AMUS) Program. The activities planned in service of Strengthening Health and Wellness for Detroit residents.  The event will include food distribution, activities, resources, a hat & glove giveaway, a wheel lock/car club giveaway, and more.
