Metro Detroit Peace March Rally and March for Gun Safety June 17

Join us Saturday, June 17 12n-3p as we work for peace in our community. Our first-ever Metro Detroit March for Peace celebrates and advocates for peace through learning and action around gun safety issues. The day begins at 12n with the dedication of an outdoor public information exhibit, then inspirational talks from community speakers and politicians, a West Michigan metal worker who turns guns into artwork, music and refreshments. Then from 1-3p a 1-mile March for Peace. On the back lawn at St. David’s will be a collection of signs arranged as an informative and fun quiz on gun safety.
