Meteor Shower Overnight

Calling all stargazers, don’t miss your chance to witness the Perseid Meteor Shower at the Cranbrook Institute of Science August 10th to 11th! Join fellow celestial enthusiasts and astronomers for an overnight stargazing event! Enjoy provided snacks and breakfast, access to the Observatory, hands-on activities, a late night movie, and more! As the Perseid Meteor Shower is one of the most active shooting star displays of the year, expect to see 50 or more meteors every hour! In the event of inclement weather, the event will be moved to an indoor format. This event is designed for ages 5+.
