Meshell Ndegeocello
MOCAD Hot Logic series - Bassist, singer, and songwriter Meshell Ndegeocello explores the politics of race and sex, among other topics. Her latest album Ventriloquism (2018), saw her reinterpreting formative R&B classics of the '80s and early '90s. On four evenings in July, MOCAD opens its front doors and back yard creating an immersive art experience featuring outdoor performances, local food vendors, full service bars, and exclusive access to MOCAD’s exhibitions.
