Meet Your Best Friend

When: Fri., May 13, 1 p.m. and Sat., May 14, 10 a.m. 2016

The Michigan Humane Society and the Detroit Zoological Society have teamed up to create this furry, fuzzy, all-around cuddly event that will bring together hundreds of cats, dogs, puppies, and kittens from 35 animal welfare organizations to make finding the perfect pet incredibly easy. Adoption fees and policies are different and set by each welfare group, but a valid adult ID will be required for anyone hoping to take home a new family member. All cats and dogs will have up-to-date medical care and vaccines. For health and safety reasons, current furry friends will not be permitted to attend the event. There is no change or parking or admission for this event, but regular admission and parking charges apply to those visiting the zoo.
