Planet Ant Theatre continues its reopening season at the Planet Ant Black Box with the classic Greek comedy, Lysistrata by Aristophanes. Lysistrata, takes place during the Peloponnesian War between the Greek city states. Weary of warfare, a woman (Lysistrata) launches a campaign to end the fighting by denying all of the men sex. This hilarious—and somewhat lewd—comedy is typical of ancient Greek theatre, and is as entertaining now as it was then.
