A summertime celebration in the garden and poolside of a magnificent Richard Marr-designed historic mansion in Detroit's stunning Palmer Woods features foods of the African Diaspora with Chef Phil Jones, sensational jazz with guitarist A Spencer Barefield & saxophonist Leafar, silent auction with unique Detroit-centric experiences, wine, desserts, a tour through a portion of the home, and FUNraising for Palmer Park. The party benefits the nonprofit People for Palmer Park, and its work to restore its landmark 139-year-old authentic Log Cabin—a center for art & culture—and continue to revitalize Palmer Park, an urban park "for the good of everyone."
