LIFT Professional Training Programs

In Advanced Manufacturing, there are more jobs available than skilled professionals to fill them. This spring, develop advanced manufacturing skills and earn credentials with Detroit-based LIFT. No experience required. Due to the uncertainty of the pandemic, classes this spring will be conducted in a rolling fashion; as interest from prospective students is determined, specific class time and dates will be scheduled. The CNC Operations program prepares students to operate CNC mills and lathes, and the Welding Technician program prepares students to become entry-level welders in either Gas Metal Arc Welding (MIG) or Gas Tungsten Arc Welding (TIG).
