The Art Gallery, School of Art and Design at Eastern Michigan University is pleased to announce a lecture titled "Detroit's Black Power Murals as Public Art," by Rebecca Zurier, Associate Professor, History of Art, University of Michigan. It will take place on Tuesday, October 12 from 6-7 pm in EMU’s Halle Library Auditorium. The lecture is held in conjunction with the exhibition Harold Neal and Detroit African American Artists: 1945 through the Black Arts Movement at the EMU Art Gallery from Monday, September 13 through Wednesday, October 20, 2021.
