Chamber Music at the Scarab Club will showcase the music of Czech composer Leoš Janáček, featuring his String Quartet #1 ('Kreutzer Sonata'), the Violin Sonata and several folk songs. The performers for this concert include Detroit Opera Orchestra members Laura Roelofs, Velda Kelly, Scott Stefanko and Ivana Biliskov, as well as Detroit Opera Resident Artists Ben Reisinger and Rolfe Dauz. The musicians will also perform selections by Dvořák, Leoncavallo and Gounod.
