Hyd PC

A seminal figure in the early to mid-aughts hyperpop scene, Hyd, aka Hayden Dunham, creates lush, maximalist music when not immersed in sculpture, installation, video, or performance art. Best known perhaps as the live cyborg-star for the AG Cook/Sophie collaborative project PC Music, her music cracks through the bedrock of musical cliche, calling for radical vulnerability, presence, and embodiment, as featured on their critically-acclaimed 2021 self-titled EP and 2022's Nick Cave-covering 'Into My Arms'. On July 25, Hyd comes to Detroit as MeanRed welcomes them to Tangent Gallery!
