Hug Detroit Day Block Party & Backpack Drive (also collecting can goods, water, school uniforms)

HUG Detroit Day will be held this year on Sunday, August 22, 2021 from 11:00 AM-12:00 AM, Hug Detroit Community Services, City Artz, Frugal on the Fly, Amazing Kinks, WJZZ Cool TV, M.A.M.A, Detroit Legacy Sunrise just to name a few, will host the 9th Annual HUG DETROIT DAY. The festivities will continue throughout the day with city wide block parties being celebrated all over Metro Detroit featuring plenty of free activities, live entertainment, talent showcases, art exhibits, drink and food specials, activities for children, dance parties and most of all, our annual backpack, book, can and school supplies drive.
