“Time and Space” is a conversation among Scott Hocking and Detroit Stories catalog contributors Michael Stone Richards, Professor of Critical Theory and Visual Studies at the College for Creative Studies; Andrew Blauvelt, curator of “Scott Hocking: Detroit Stories” and Director of Cranbrook Art Museum. This conversation is free with gallery admission. “Scott Hocking: Detroit Stories” is the first museum retrospective of the artist, who has been living and working in Detroit for more than twenty-five years and who was born in the adjacent community of Redford Township, Michigan.
