Detroit’s hip-hop community is coming together to celebrate the 50th birthday of one of its most influential DJs and cultural curators—House Shoes. On Saturday, March 29, 2025, The Norwood in Midtown Detroit will host a star-studded celebration from 10 PM to 2 AM, honoring House Shoes' unparalleled contributions to hip-hop and Detroit’s global music legacy.
Curated by Urban Organic, the night will feature a powerhouse lineup of special invited guests, including Phat Kat, Guilty Simpson, Marv Won, Fatt Father, Big Tone, Boog Brown, Black Milk, Fat Ray, Stretch Money, and members of D12, among others.
