Happy Endings 15th Anniversary
Fifteen years, five venues, and 180 parties later, Happy Endings has earned its place as Detroit’s longest-running First Wave/Classic Alt dance party. Since 2009, Mike Trombley and Joe Wisniewski have kept the quality consistent, cultivating a loyal following that’s only grown since settling at Eastern Palace Club two years ago.
On Saturday, February 1st, Mike & Joe will celebrate this milestone in trademark fashion, harking back to the heady days of Club X, Todd’s, and Industry, spinning iconic Alt Dance classics from the likes of Depeche Mode, The Cure, and Blur, to current dark wave darlings Cold Cave and Boy Harsher. Real vinyl. Real mixing. A party 15 years in the making.
