Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra Holiday Concert for Children of All Ages

When: Sun., Dec. 4, 3-4:30 p.m. 2022

The Grosse Pointe Symphony Orchestra presents its “Holiday Concert for Children of All Ages” on December 4 at 3:00 p.m. at Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church. The concert includes the music of Vivaldi, Adolphe Adam’s, Mozart, Leroy Anderson and concludes with Prokofiev’s Peter and the Wolf, “a symphonic fairy tale for children” about a young boy’s encounter with a wolf near his grandfather’s farm. All characters in the tale (including the animals) are represented by instruments playing a distinctive melody for each character.
