Freedom Players/Motor City Cabaret

Freedom Players: Led by Billicia Charnelle Hines and Dr. RAS Mikey Courtney, the Freedom Players is a devised theatre performance ensemble that addresses issues of social justice for Detroit Public Schools Community District, serving approximately 3,600 public middle and high school students. Motor City Cabaret: Our musical theatre performance and outreach program offers a rousing musical revue to schools, libraries, and community centers each year with the goal of creating awareness and appreciation of the art of theatre and dance through an energetic and informative hour-long performance.
