Freedom Arts Festival: Music, Art, Dance & Food of the Middle East with Victor Ghannam & Friends

Internationally-acclaimed multi-instrumentalist Victor Ghannam leads a stellar ensemble of musicians performing music of the Middle East at a FREE family-friendly concert outside Palmer Park's historic Log Cabin overlooking Lake Frances. Bring a chair or blanket to hear the magical sounds of Kanun, Oud, Tablas, Nay and Riq! Enjoy Dabke dancing, shop with local artists, get a henna tattoo, indulge in delicious food, teas and coffee. Mexican artist/muralist Elton Monroy Duran leads a hands-on painting workshop for all ages, and kids can get their faces painted. The festival brings together freedom, racial justice, history, and connects diverse communities through the arts.
