Flip/Mask, YEMAN

Jeff and Mel return for genre-denying musical mastery. He presents a broad-based mix of instrumental finger picking, aggressive acoustic, country folk, jazz/Latin styles, and rock & roll. It's really been his intent to write a new musical language. Mel is a percussionist, among other artistic ventures. Mel is former professor/emeritus faculty of painting and drawing and Wayne State and has exhibited his work the Smithsonian American Art Museum. YEMAN is a virtuosic fingerstyle guitarist, taking stylistic direction from artists such as Tommy Emmanuel. In fact, he plays the same rare, Australian-made Maton. YEMAN recently opened for Calum Graham.
