Film: "La Cucaracha"

Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month and Mexican Independence (celebrated September 16th) as the Senate Theater and the Mexican Patriotic Committee Of Metro Detroit present "La Cucaracha" (The Soldiers of Pancho Villa, 1959, 97 minutes) starring María Félix as Refugio "La Cucaracha" who won an Menorah Award for best actress. This celebration will also double as a fundraiser for the Cinco De Mayo parade in Southwest Detroit and will feature a performance by Ballet Folklorico Raices Mexicanas!
