Does anyone remember when Grammy-winning neo-soul goddess Badu busked in an NYC subway station last year and went completely unrecognized? She earned $3.60 and passers-by missed some serious talent, but that probably won’t be the case when she takes the stage at Chene Park, where she will perform songs from her multiplatinum repertoire. Nas also understands the fickleness of it all. The legendary MC will share the stage with Badu and hopefully preach wisdom with “N.Y. State of Mind.”
