EMU Choir at Historic Ypsilanti First United Methodist Church

The internationally acclaimed Eastern Michigan University Choir performs in the sanctuary of historic First United Methodist Church of Ypsilanti as part of the church's bicentennial celebration. One of the most active and accomplished choral ensembles in the Midwest, the EMU choir has toured in Europe, performed with Grammy-nominated tenor, Andrea Bocelli; performed at Carnegie Hall and released six recordings in the past nine seasons. There is no admission charge. A free will offering will be available for attendees who wish to donate to support the church’s outreach and service projects.
