Join us to learn from Dr. John Hartig about the revitalization of Michigan’s Rouge River, which at one point was considered one of the most polluted rivers in the United States. Discover how the power of collective action is working to revive the river.
For 14 years, Dr. Hartig served as the Refuge Manager for the Detroit River International Wildlife Refuge and has received numerous awards for his environmental work. Now, Dr. Hartig is a Visiting Scholar at the University of Windsor’s Great Lakes Institute for Environmental Research and serves on the Board of Directors for the Detroit Riverfront Conservancy.
