Downtown Boxing Gym UnGala 2023: The Joys of Being a Kid, 80s Style

In celebration of 16 years of transformative youth mentorship, Downtown Boxing Gym (DBG), will host UnGala 2023: The Joys of Being a Kid, on Saturday, September 23. The event will take place from 7:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. at 6445 E. Vernor Highway in Detroit and will support of DBG’s free, out-of-school-time program. Guests are invited to relive the ‘80s and their childhood memories with retro arcade games, DJ battle, dancing, and a “knockout wall” with prizes. Dinner and drinks will be provided. Suggested dress is “sneaker chic,” with guests encouraged to show off their best ‘80s style.
