A finalist in the Motown Museum’s Motown Mic competition, DJ’s performances captivate with raw emotion and vivid storytelling. Offstage, he serves as a Literacy Coordinator at the Detroit Parent Network, inspiring youth to embrace their voices through reading and writing. With a mission to spread love and positivity, DJ bridges art and advocacy seamlessly. As a cast member of Out of the Mouth of Babes – Rising Stars of Jazz, DJ infuses the rhythm of spoken word with the soul of jazz.
