Detroit Home Opener Festival
No plans yet for Tigers’ Opening Day on Friday, April 5th? No problem! The Detroit Home Opener Festival, located in downtown Detroit on the Madison Festival Grounds (440 Madison St.), will host its annual event beginning at 9:00am and going until the last Tigers fan departs.
This Opening Day bash - just a few blocks from Tiger Stadium - will be Detroit’s biggest Opening Day party, and will feature giant heated tents, multiple stages with music by over 15 of Detroit’s best DJs including DJ Myint, DJ Prevu, DJ Chachi and live entertainment by Your Generation In Concert, multiple big-screen TVs and video walls to showcase all of the Tigers action, and plenty of full bars, vendors and food truck selections. Attendees will also enjoy a variety of games, and a portion of proceeds will benefit Angel’s Share. Tickets start at $20, and group ticket sales, VIP Cabanas for private entertaining and bus trip options are also available.
