Join us on Thursday, December 12, at 6:30pm for the second talk in our series featuring artists from our current exhibition, "How We Make the Planet Move: The Detroit Collection, Part I."
Lester Johnson, a long-time Detroit native, and Allana Clarke, a more recent transplant, will explore how their distinct material practices and use of abstraction reimagine embodied experience and convey complex ideas about identity.
