Detroit Advocacy Day to End Juvenile Life without Parole

When: Sat., Aug. 19, 12-3 p.m. 2023

This event is co-hosted by the ACLU Michigan, the Campaign for the Fair Sentencing of Youth, SADO, PPC, and Safe and Just Michigan. Michigan has the most people serving Juvenile Life without Parole in the world. Join our advocacy day to put JLWOP to an end this year. Attendees will meet and hear from a variety of experts, including former juvenile lifers, victims of youth violence, and Michigan legislators. Lunch and refreshments will be provided.
