CQMD is a funk brass band from France making their Detroit debut! "This band has a mighty swing" wrote David Byrne as he signed one of the songs for a compilation on his own label Luaka Bop. They have shared stage with Bootsy Collins, The Meters, Maceo Parker, Larry Graham, and even created a ephemeral team 'Madd Vibes Brass Band" with Angelo Moore, frontman of Fishbone and toured Europe and Mexico with this insane line-up. 9 albums, 32 countries played. They are ready to rock Pj Lager House!! We are going to 'pass the hat' asking for band donations!
