Clybourne Park is a spin-off of Lorraine Hansberry’s seminal 1959 work A Raisin in the Sun. Bruce Norris portrays the families that reside at 406 Clybourne Park, both before and after the Younger family. In an attempt to get the Younger family to sell, neighborhood-association chair Karl tries to convince Russ and Bev to pull out of the deal in order to preserve his all-white neighborhood... Five decades later, the descendants of the Youngers fight their own battle against gentrification when the new white owners of the house declare their plan to tear the house down and build a much larger house.
