According to event organizers, the Center line Independence Festival, now in its seventh year, will once again be celebrating more than 85 years of independence from its larger neighboring community, Warren, with live, free concerts, children’s activities, petting zoo, bounce houses, axe throwing, corn hole tournament, softball tournament, inflatables, helicopter rides, fireworks, and adult beverages tent at Center Line Memorial Park (25355 Lawrence Ave.); and carnival on 10 Mile Road, west of Van Dyke Ave. (M-53),
