Blake’s Craft Faire and Fiber Festival

A companion to the increasingly popular Lavender Festival held at Blake Farms every summer, this fair is a similar celebration of the simple things in life, like wool. Proclaiming to be a one-of-a-kind event, the festival will host fiber artisans hocking clothing, quilts, blankets, rugs, looms, spinning wheels, and tons more wool-related items. Fiber enthusiasts and novices alike will be treated to a variety of workshops on felting, spinning, punch needle, knitting, and rug hooking. The event will also have demos and wooly animals like llamas, alpacas, sheep, and rabbits, all of which will likely act coolly indifferent to your noisome cooing.

Runs 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily; 17985 Armada Center Rd., Armada; 586-784-5343; blakefarms.com; Admission is free.
