Get ready to party like it’s 1918: Highland Park, the city that is home to Henry Ford’s first assembly line, is turning 100 years old. This centenary celebration comes in the form of the Big Highland Park Art Show, a free event featuring nearly 60 artists. Britney Stoney will perform, the Pink Flamingo food caravan will be making the rounds, and, for a donation, MotorCity Beer will fill thy cup until it runneth over. Visitors will also have the opportunity to sketch and paint with some of the 22 resident artists.
