Best Buddies Friendship Walk
Since 2009, more than 180,00 participants in 70 cities have walked to raise awareness for inclusion, friendship, leadership development and integrated job opportunities for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). Best Buddies Michigan hosts the friendship walk as the largest leading walk in the country, raising awareness and funds to support inclusion for individuals with IDD. This year the walk will be head at the Detroit Zoo on Saturday, April 22nd from 9 AM - noon and is free to the public to join!
