Beacon Park Earth Day

Beacon Park is kicking off Earth Day celebrations with art displays and garden tours in its new Connected to All: Environment + People + Community event. The garden tour will educate visitors about the flowers, plants and trees at Beacon Park and guests are invited to plant their own bulbs on a first-come, first-served basis to keep Downtown Detroit beautiful, green and clean. Alongside the tour, the Detroit Fine Artists Breakfast Club, a group of local artists will share more than 40 unique art pieces with the public, hosting an exhibition themed around sustainability and environmentalism.
