This informative overview of significant architecture in and around Downtown Detroit is one of our most popular tours. Led by Chris Gongora of Christian Hurttienne Architects, the discussion centers on architecture in relation to urban planning, past and future developments and the social implications of architectural design, good and bad, in Detroit. Sites include Elmwood Cemetery, Lafayette Park, Brush Park, Hart Plaza, E. Ferry Historic District and the Medical Center. Ride Distance: 15 miles Ride Length: 3 hours Number of participants is limited to 15 riders per tour.
