21st Annual Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade

Join us at the 2023 Detroit Greek Independence Day Parade in historic Greektown, Detroit, on Sunday, May 7, 2023. 11:00 a.m. – Enjoy lunch and shopping in Greektown. 12:00 p.m. – Annunciation Cathedral Doxology (707 E. Lafayette Street). Join His Eminence Metropolitan Nicholas for a prayer service before the parade. 3:00 p.m. – Parade Kicks Off! Nearly 60 Greek-American organizations, churches, community groups, businesses, and other participants. 4:00 p.m. – Post-Parade Dancing & Photos in Monroe Street. Embrace your KEFI - the Greek spirit of joy! Music, dancing, and photos, with six local student dance groups participating.
