Metro Detroit mini-chain Green Lantern Pizzeria and Lounge is opening two new locations — one in Rochester Hills and another in Berkley.

Metromode reports that the Rochester Hills location at Walton and Livernois roads will offer carry out and delivery only, while the Berkley store will go in the former Sila Italian Dining & Pizza restaurant on Twelve Mile Road. The Rochester Hills shop is expected to open within a few weeks, while the Berkley store won't be ready until sometime in 2019.

The chain's first restaurant opened in Madison Heights in 1955, and since then it has become a local favorite. It won multiple Metro Times Best Of awards picked by our readers, including Best Round Pizza in 2017, and Best Pizza (Suburbs) in 2018.
