Oscar Wilde once said that “imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.” If this is true, then “Weird Al” Yankovic is the biggest ass-kisser of all time. The king of parody pop is hitting the road with his “Ridiculously Self-Indulgent, Ill-Advised Vanity Tour” — and it comes with a disclaimer. This is not the Weird Al you’ve come to expect. In fact, the set list will be comprised almost entirely of his original songs — meaning, non-parody tunes. The stripped-down performance will be sans costumes, props, or video screens.

Weird Al Yankovic will perform on Sunday, March 11 at the Michigan Theater; Doors open at 8 p.m.; 603 E. Liberty St., Ann Arbor; michtheater.org; 734-668-8397; Tickets start at $39.50.
