The Whitney will make an appearance on Travel Channel's 'Food Paradise' this weekend

It looks like the Whitney is getting its 15-minutes of fame this weekend.

The Travel Channel is showing a special edition of their long running show "Food Paradise" with a Halloween twist. The theme is "Scary Good," where they will show some haunted places in America that also serve delicious food.

We all know that the Whitney is rumored to be one of the most haunted places in all of metro Detroit (they do have a ghost bar, after all) so it will be fun to see if the folks at the Travel Channel unearth any paranormal activity inside the haunted mansion.

While owner Bud Liebler thinks that if the Whitney is haunted, it's haunted by "friendly spirits," they do host paranormal tours of the building along with paranormal dinners that will surely spook you. You can even schedule a paranormal dinner for this year's Halloween, which honestly sounds like a death trap waiting to happen.

The episode of "Food Paradise" airs this Sunday at 8 p.m.
