Pokémon Go players beware- if you aren't careful, you might end up catching a ticket.
After dark on Saturday, five people received citations for playing the game in Wahby Park in St. Clair Shores. Apparently, the park closes at dusk, and visitors who remain past that time are eligible to be slapped with a misdemeanor for violating park hours. One of the people who received a ticket, Megan Moehlig, took to Facebook to express her frustration.
"I have a professional job, so I don't need that sitting on my record for sitting at a park bench at night," Moehlig told Local 4 News.
The number of Pokémon Go players has been a growing problem at the park, where police often have to usher people out after dark.
