Taste a ton of whiskey at Whiskey Business tomorrow night

Tomorrow night is Metro Times' bi-annual whiskey tasting event, Whiskey Business. Regular attendees of our tasting events know what the deal is: A ticket gets you ten samples from a selection of over 100 whiskeys from around the world. There's some locally-made beer from brand new brewery ROAK, plus food from Smoke Ring BBQ, A Serendipity Cakery, Wood Fired Up, and Delectable. And since you can't have a glass a bourbon without a stogie, cigars from Secréto Cigar Vault will be available.

There will be locally-made options from Motor City Gas and Detroit City Distillery, but the rest of the whiskey available is from world class brands like Elijah Craig, Johnnie Walker, Buffalo Trace, and Jack Daniels. There will also be Rumchata and Fireball, in case you've never been to the bar before.

Simple enough, right?

Coinciding with this installment of Whiskey Business is a new event called Small Batches Big Plates, which sees Woodford Reserve cocktails paired with four courses prepared by a local chef from Lakes.

Whiskey Business starts at 7 p.m. for VIP ticket holders ($70) and 8 p.m. for general admission ($50) inside the Royal Oak Farmers Market at 316 E. 11 Mile Rd., Royal Oak. For more info click here
