Misanthropic pharmaceutical CEO quotes Eminem during Twitter freakout

Following news that a drug company raised the price of a common anti-parasitic drug by 5,000 percent overnight, the company's CEO and founder took to Twitter to have what can only be described as a good old-fashioned social media meltdown.

According to TechCrunch, Martin Shkreli — the 32-year-old CEO and founder of Turing Pharmaceuticals, and former hedge fund manager —  issued more than 125 tweets in defense of raising the price of Daraprim from $13.50 to $750 per pill.

Actually, Shkreli did more defend the price hike — the dude came off as an absolute dick (many of the tweets have since been deleted). When asked how he manages to sleep at night, Shkreli curtly responded, "you know, ambien." One of his tweets simply quoted lyrics from Eminem's "The Way I Am" ("And it seems like the media immediately points a finger at me / So I point one back at em, but not the index or pinkie").

Sure, Eminem's raps could be callous, but at least you could say that it was all an act. No word yet on what Em thinks about his lyrics being appropriated by a person who may be an actual misanthrope.
